Cathedral Gallery, Tideswell
Cathedral Gallery, Tideswell is housed in one of the oldest buildings in Tideswell, which, from circa 1746 to 1816, was the 'House of Correction' and in more recent years a Portuguese Restaurant.
2006 saw its conversion to an Art & Craft Gallery, which opened in May of that year. The building, with its quaint, uneven, walls and beamed ceilings, creates a wonderful back drop for the work of many talented artists and craft workers, mostly, from around the British Isles.
Showcased in the gallery is a comprehensive range of art & craft from 'home grown' talent along with a few internationally famous artists.
