Home : Out and About : Pubs, Restaurants, Food and Drink : The Angler's Rest, Miller's Dale

We are delighted to say that this pub is back on the map!  It is only one mile along the lane from Riverside House holiday cottage so a nice stroll (note it is unlit in the winter so torches are essential) or a very easy drive with plenty of parking at the pub.  The new owners are very welcoming and accommodating and the pub is great for walkers and visitors from The Monsal Trail.  There is plenty of parking and in the spring and summer some lovely riverside views with seating.  The pub is very dog friendly with wooden floors ideal for four-legged visitors.  We highly recommended the food, which is generous portions of home-cooked traditional pub food with plenty of options from baguettes, soup to roasts, pies, daily specials and fish and chips.
